Grammy Awards 2017: Beyoncé's Stunning Performance, Adele's Big Win and Solange First Grammy Win

Beyoncé Wins Grammy Awards for Best Music Video & Best Urban Contemporary Album, Plus Full Performance and Acceptance Speech.

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards premiered this Sunday on February 12th hosted by James Corden on CBS. While Beyoncé didn't win all nine awards she was nominated for, she was still the talk of the night. The singer won two of her nine nominations, Best Urban Contemporary Album (Lemonade) and Best Music Video (Formation). She lost out on the biggest award of the night (Album of the Year) which was won by Adele for her album 25.

Beyoncé was introduced by her mother Tina Lawson (Knowles). She wowed the Grammy Awards during her nine-minuet performance celebrating motherhood. The performance began and ended with the words of poet Warsen Shire "If we're going to heal, let it be glorious." which she also sampled in Lemonade. "Love Drought" and "Sandcastles" taken from her sixth studio album Lemonade were performed and even pulled off a gravity-defying chair stunt.

Beyoncé, so monumental and well though out and so beautiful and soul-baring. And we all got to see another side to you that you don't always let us see and we appreciate that. All us artists here, we fucking adore you." said Adele while Beyoncé sheds a tear mouthing "I love you".

"You are our light and the way you make me feel, the way you make my black friends feel is empowering. And you make them stand up for themselves and I love you. I always have and I always will." said Adele.
