[STREAM] LeToya Luckett Releases Her Long Awaited Album "Back 2 Life"
It has been 8 years since LeToya Luckett released her last album, Lady Love (2009) and she is finally back with her long awaited third studio album "Back 2 Life" bringing back Soul & R&B that is definitely needed in this music industry. Over the last three years Luckett has released promotional singles "Don't Make Me Wait" (2014), "I'm Ready" and "Together" (2015) as a lead up to the album. Released through eOne Music Entertainment the album has been supported by the release of two singles, the title track "Back 2 Life" and Used to. A feature from long-time friend American Rapper Ludacris features on the track "Grey" which marks their second collaboration together since "Regret" (2009).
On December 7, 2016, Back 2 Life was released as the lead single to support the album. Luckett released the teaser trailer on December 12 announcing her three-part "Back 2 Life" series, with the music video premiering on January 10, 2017. Billboard Magazine, named the song as "one of the tracks to hear before the year comes to an end." The second single "Used To" was released on April 17, along with the second part of the Back 2 Life series music video.
LeToya Luckett has shown she is more than worthy of being a "Top 40" artist, she is highly underrated and deserves the recognition she is entitled to. The album is a great combination of work includes the hit "Back 2 Life", the Urban-trap style song "Weekend", the effortless vocal performance in "Worlds Apart" and the emotional track "Disconnected" plus more.
